He is a Microsoft MVP, a Microsoft Patterns & Practices Champion, and the creator of the Prism Library, the most popular framework for architecting and building XAML applications, which has over 45 million downloads. Brian is also the original creator of the Extended WPF Toolkit which has over 9 million downloads.

Currently, Brian is an engineering manager and oversees a team of 8 engineers to build an embedded data analytics SDK. Under his leadership, the product has improved in all aspects and has achieved record sales.
